iDEA 3101

iDEA 310x series is a highly flexible and advanced controller to manage special locking arrangements of emergency doors. It is Wi-Fi, Bluetooth + Ethernet enabled. The device can be configured from a PC application, the cloud and with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) using iOS and Android applications.

Easily configurable

• Mobile Configuration: Securely configure the device from your mobile device with BLE using dedicated free Android and iOS applications

• Cloud Configuration: configure the device using the axess.ai website anytime, anywhere

Flexible and customizable

• The inputs can be easily configured for multiple functions. Inputs can be configured as: open contact, closed contact, one resistor, and two resistor supervision modes. The input can also be configured as open contact or closed contact without any hardware modifications

• The outputs can be mapped to different function states as required. Outputs can respond to trigger commands by other members of the cluster

• Supports multiple reader types including iButton, Open Supervised Device Protocol (OSDP), and Wiegand Devices from multiple vendors

• Using the PC app configuration and download, the display can be further customized to display integrators/customer’s company name, logo, support phone numbers, and others. There are a total of five visible and programmable lines

• Using the PC app or via Cloud and by use of mobile Bluetooth, installers can change the input, output, and door configuration such as bypass time, alarm time, and others

• iDEA has three special timers: 1. Nuisance timers (0,1,2 seconds) 2. Time delay to release (15,30 seconds) 3. Auto/manual alarm reset etc.

Easy Installation

• The device can be installed by any exit door or protected area designated as ‘Special Locking’ in which locking is allowed under specific circumstances as detailed by the International Building Code (IBC) and the NFPA 101 Life Safety Codes

Interface to any Access Control

• Remote monitoring and management of iDEA can be done from any stand-alone guard station, the cloud, or by interfacing to the buildings access control system. iDEA operates from 12-24V DC and has three programmable inputs as well as four programmable outputs. Outputs can be configured as dry or 1K or 1K/2K EOL supervision on board via jumpers. There is no need for external EOL resistor kits

Multiple Door Conditions

• iDEA has dedicated outputs for remote Red/Green LEDs as well as 2.4” graphical display showing multiple door conditions such as, nuisance timer with graphical count down, graphical timer for remaining lock release period. Additionally, the graphical display shows status conditions of the door such as, Secured, Alarm and Held Open
